Paolo "Paul" Austria is co-founder and design lead at Makimiso. For more than 15 years he has designed digital products and brand experiences for companies including Pfizer, Apple, and HP — most recently building digital products for Pfizer through the pandemic. His work spans UX/UI and product design, art direction, and brand identity, with a focus on making complex, evidence-based work clear, usable, and genuinely human. At Makimiso, he partners with researchers and mission-driven teams to turn dense information into tools, reports, and experiences people actually want to use.

Jarrett Davis is co-founder and managing member of Makimiso, where he leads research, evaluation, and data analytics. Over 15 years he has designed and led mixed-methods research for organizations including UNICEF, USAID, ECPAT International, and the World Childhood Foundation — work spanning 30 publications and recognition as the Global Association of Human Trafficking Scholars' 2023 Most Influential Researcher. His current practice builds federal-grant evaluation infrastructure and prevention-measurement systems for NYC public schools, with technical depth in survey design, statistical analysis (Python, R), and dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau). At Makimiso, he turns rigorous evidence into the tools, reports, and dashboards that mission-driven teams actually use.
